Dr. Schär Institute Medical Committee

The International Scientific Committee of the Dr. Schär Institute brings together doctors, researchers and nutritional medicine specialists with a specialist interest in gluten-related disorders (GRD)

Competence network for cereal and gluten-related disorders

Concentrated expertise in the fields of coeliac disease, wheat allergy, non-coeliac gluten sensitivity/wheat sensitivity and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): The Dr. Schär Institute brings together international experts from fields such as gastroenterology, paediatrics, nutritional medicine and nutritional science. Based on this comprehensive expertise, the Medical Committee not only supports scientific articles and lectures in the context of GRD, but also the development of pioneering products of the highest quality for gluten-free nutrition. The overarching goals are the interdisciplinary exchange of the latest scientific findings on cereal- and gluten-related diseases and increasing general awareness of this frequently underdiagnosed and therefore undertreated topic.
