The company Dr. Schär AG / SPA (hereinafter referred to as “Schär”), based in Italy - Postal (BZ), Winkelau no. 9, spoken for by its legal representative, Mr. Ulrich Ladurner, hereby informs you, in accordance with Art. 13 of the Data Protection Code, Legislative Decree no. 196 from 30.06.2003 (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”), that the completion of the respective form on your part will lead to the collection and processing of your personal data by Schär. In particular:
PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING – Schär will store and process your forwarded personal data in its data bases: a) in order to process your request for the purpose of sending you selected, free advertising and communication media, b) with prior consent for the electronic forwarding of free advertising and communication media via e-mail, c) with prior consent for the performance of market research campaigns.
Should you agree to the above mentioned processing of your personal data, we would like to inform you that you can object to this processing at any time, simply and free of charge, by simply providing written notification to Schär (see below under the point "Rights of the persons concerned").
METHODS OF PROCESSING – The data will be processed by specially assigned persons and (formally named) persons responsible for processing data, who use tools and aids, such as recording instruments or magnetic, computer-assisted and telematic aids, with which security and confidentiality can be ensured. Therefore, the processing of data can also be performed with the aid of automatic media intended for storage, administration and telematic transmission of such data. The data bases are located within protected environments. Access to these is stringently monitored in accordance with the Code regulations.
The personal data, which may be processed for market research campaign purposes, is archived with the application of methods that guarantee only the most necessary level of data circulation, which is additionally supported by means of access monitoring of the staff assigned to processing.
NATURE OF THE DATA SURRENDER – The surrender and consent for the processing of your personal data is voluntary, whereby the surrender and processing of your personal data is required in order to allow your request to be processed and to allow forwarding of advertising and communication media.
Therefore, we must inform you that it is not possible for Schär to perform the above mentioned forwarding if you should fail to enter your personal data in the sections marked with *, or if you should fail to agree to the processing, which is solely intended for the aforementioned purposes.
However, a refusal to surrender data for market research campaign purposes in no way affects the possibility of receiving advertising media.


TRANSFER AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROCESSED DATA – Subject to the transfer and publication of data, which is performed in accordance with statutory regulations, your data may be distributed in Italy and other countries to certain subjects, who carry out instrumental functions or functions in close relationship with the activities of Schär.
RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED – With regard to the aforementioned data, you are entitled to the rights stipulated in Art. 7 of the Legislative Decree no. 196 from 30.06.2003 (particularly including the right to access your personal data, as well as the right to demand that these details are corrected, updated or deleted, and you can object to the processing of your personal data if you should have justified reasons to do so), however, this must be within the limits and subject to the conditions of Article 8, 9 and 10 of the above mentioned Legislative Decree. STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA – The data is stored for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and also for the subsequent fulfilment of legal obligations and for future commercial purposes, as well as for market research and marketing purposes, insofar as permission is provided for the processing of your personal data.
All personal data, of which storage for the aforementioned purposes is not absolutely necessary, are deleted or converted to anonymous data in accordance with legal regulations.
